Not My President? You Made This Bed, Deal With It

I’ve followed the 2016 Presidential election since almost the beginning and this is my brutally honest opinion on the anti-Trump protesters (sometimes rioters). I’m not sure how staging mass protest AFTER an election is going to accomplish anything. It seems that such demonstrations would’ve been much productive beforehand but okay…

I’ve been seeing these statements as of late from social justice warriors who are painting an overly simplistic picture. Saying this Trump victory is ultimately thanks to the alt-right’s bigotry and nothing else. Umm no there’s plenty of blame to pass around, such as the mass voter suppression by the DNC. Plus, there were many Hillary supporters who absolutely refused to listen to reason when pointing this all out. We warned that the wrong candidate was being backed and there might be a backlash later on. Many seemed obsessed in wanting a woman elected as president, regardless of the individual’s track record.

Unfortunately, it looks like our fears were correct thanks to this unusual poll that saw the warning signs in advance. Up to 40% registered Democrats decided to go for Trump and many of which were women! So it wasn’t just bigoted right-wing voters, the left managed to do a good job at alienating themselves from many ordinary hardworking Democrats.

3rd Party Voters Are Not To Blame For Trump Getting Elected

Even if Jill Stein or Gary Johnson came close to “spoiling” the election for Trump or Hillary it’s ludicrous to blame someone for voting who they think is the most qualified. Frankly, it’s victim blaming to scold disenfranchised voters for refusing to back candidates who are part of the problem.

2016 Presidental Election results – Afterthoughts

Just my quick 2 cents soon after the election ended

Hillary’s strong lead is now wavering

Even The Young Turks who has been nothing but a cheerleader for Hillary since her nomination is beginning to have doubts. Not only are the “Deplorables” in social media questioning Clinton’s “strong” poll numbers but many of the BernieOrBust crowd who are now backing Jill Stein are also saying she’s at big risk of losing to Trump. I think that says a lot since they don’t really like either of these 2 big candidates.

Super Tuesday 2016

Even though all the votes are not counted they still show that Trump (not surprisingly) won in most of the states. The polls has repeatedly showed that Ted Cruz would get Texas. That wasn’t surprising since candidates tend to get at least their home state.

What completely surprised me though was that Bernie Sanders won Oklahoma as ppl kept saying Hillary was in the lead.

Super Tuesday is the ultimate test to see who will likely get nominated. I think it’s pretty safe to say that this coming November it’ll ultimately be between Trump and Hillary (god damn it)…..

I will seriously consider voting 3rd party this year since I don’t think neither has what it takes to fix shit….
